Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders

Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken tenders
1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian-style)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon milk
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Cooking spray or olive oil
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray or olive oil.
Prepare the Breading:
In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Prepare the Egg Mixture:
In another shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth.
Bread the Chicken Tenders:
Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.
Then, coat the chicken tender in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks well.
Place the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not touching each other.
Bake the Chicken Tenders:
Lightly spray the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray or drizzle with a small amount of olive oil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
Garnish and Serve:
Remove the chicken tenders from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, marinara, or honey mustard.
