Garlic Noodles Recipe
Ingredients:
8 oz (225 g) spaghetti or other long pasta
1/4 cup unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Noodles:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and black pepper. Set aside.
Cook the Garlic:
In a large skillet or wok, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Combine Noodles and Sauce:
Add the cooked and drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic butter. Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and toss well to combine, ensuring that the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce.
Finish the Dish:
Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Toss the noodles again to mix the cheese thoroughly.
Serve:
Transfer the garlic noodles to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately.
