π Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches π°
Golden, crispy treats with a creamy cheesecake center and fresh strawberry sweetness.
β¨ Ingredients:
For the Filling:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
8 slices of bread (white or brioche work great)
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
For the Coating:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch!)
Oil, for frying

Make the Filling:
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Assemble Sandwiches:
Spread the cream cheese filling onto 4 slices of bread. Top with sliced strawberries, then place the remaining 4 slices on top to make sandwiches.
Trim & Seal:
Trim crusts off the sandwiches and press edges firmly together. You can use a fork to crimp the edges to seal in the filling.
Prepare Coating Station:
In one bowl, mix flour and milk to make a batter. In another bowl, place breadcrumbs.
Dip & Coat:
Dip each sandwich in the batter, then coat in breadcrumbs, pressing lightly so they stick.
Fry:
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry each sandwich for 2β3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels.
Sugar Finish:
Roll warm sandwiches in granulated sugar for that irresistible sweet crunch!
Serve:
