1️⃣ Prep Your Ingredients
Lay out the bread slices and measure mustard. Slice bologna if not pre-sliced.
2️⃣ Heat the Pan
Preheat a small skillet over medium heat and add 1/8 teaspoon of oil. Swirl to coat the pan lightly.
3️⃣ Fry the Bologna
Place the bologna in the skillet and cook 2–3 minutes per side until edges are slightly crispy and golden.
4️⃣ Toast the Bread
While bologna cooks, lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster or in a separate skillet until golden brown.
5️⃣ Assemble the Sandwich
Spread mustard on one slice of toast. Place the hot fried bologna on top, then add the slice of American cheese.
