French Onion Beef and Noodles

French Onion Beef and Noodles

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound beef stew meat
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 can (10.5 ounces) French onion soup
3 cups beef broth
12 ounces egg noodles
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup French fried onions

Instructions:
Heat the Oil:
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Sear the Beef:
Add the beef stew meat to the pot, then season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Sauté for 3-5 minutes until the beef is browned on all sides.
Simmer with Soup and Broth:
Pour in the French onion soup and beef broth.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook on low for 10 minutes to allow the beef to become tender.
Cook the Noodles:
Add the egg noodles to the pot and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are cooked through.
Add Dairy:
Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the sour cream and Parmesan cheese until everything is well combined and the sauce is creamy.
Serve:
Top the dish with French fried onions just before serving for added crunch and flavor.
