Every sitter we employed abruptly quit, never explaining—so my husband put on a wig and applied for the job himself.

Finding childcare for our five-year-old shouldn’t have been so difficult.

Each nanny came via the same TRUSTED AGENCY.

They all had glowing recommendations.

The first bail after three days.

The second didn’t make it a week.

The third phoned me in tears partway through her shift.

Each one delivered the identical line.

“I’M SORRY… I JUST CAN’T DO THIS.”

None of them elaborated.

Our wages were above average.

Our daughter, Sophie, was kind, well-behaved, and low-maintenance.

We had cameras throughout all common rooms.

Nothing peculiar ever appeared.

Regardless…

they all left.

After the seventh sitter’s exit, my husband joked:

“Perhaps I should apply.”

I giggled, then paused.

“What if you actually did?”

A week later, using the pseudonym “Megan,” sporting a wig and glasses, he responded to the ONLINE AD.

Amazingly…

they offered him the role.

Not for our family.

For another household.

He agreed to stay as long as possible and inform me of everything he discovered.

The first few days were unremarkable.

The agency office was immaculate.

The staff always smiled.

All the paperwork was identical.

Families appeared utterly conventional.

Then, day five brought a twist.

The agency director stopped my husband as he was exiting and smiled.

“We need you to DELIVER one last package before you leave.”

“No questions,” she stated.

“Place it on the doorstep, and WALK AWAY.”

He checked the address.

It wasn’t his client’s house.

Nor was it close.

It was to a former babysitter who’d vanished months before.

Instead of delivering it…

he SECRETLY OPENED the envelope. ⬇️
