These Easy Sausage Breakfast Muffins are fluffy, hearty, and packed with savory sausage and melty cheese—all made with simple ingredients like Bisquick for ultimate convenience. Ingredients (Makes 12 Muffins)

1 pound breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or chicken)

1 cup Bisquick baking mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Colby-Jack)

4 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

Optional add-ins:

1/4 cup diced bell peppers

1/4 cup green onions

1/4 cup cooked, crumbled bacon

Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prep

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with muffin liners.
Step 2: Cook the Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked.

Break it into small crumbles as it cooks.

Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
Step 3: Mix the Batter

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.

Stir in Bisquick, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Fold in cooked sausage and shredded cheese.

Step 4: Fill & Bake
