Easy Frito Pie

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can (15 oz) chili beans, undrained
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 bag (9 oz) Fritos corn chips
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
1/4 cup sliced jalapeƱos (optional)

Directions:
Cook Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning according to the packet instructions.
Add Beans and Tomatoes: Stir in the chili beans and diced tomatoes with their juices. Simmer for about 5-7 minutes, until the mixture is thick and heated through.
Layer the Frito Pie: In individual bowls or a large baking dish, layer the Fritos at the bottom, then spoon the beef and bean mixture over the chips.
Add Toppings: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. If you like, add a dollop of sour cream, chopped green onions, and sliced jalapeƱos.
Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm, and dig into this comforting, crunchy dish!
