Easy Cheesy Taco Sticks

๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿง€ Easy Cheesy Taco Sticks โ€“ Crispy, Gooey, Game Day Perfect! ๐Ÿˆ
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20)

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)

1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (about 13.8 oz)

1/2 cup diced onions (optional)

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions:
Cook the beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onions (if using) until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up as you go. Drain excess fat.
Add taco seasoning mix and the amount of water called for on the seasoning packet (usually about 2/3 cup). Simmer until thickened and well combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Preheat oven:
Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare the dough:
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle roughly 12 x 10 inches.

Assemble taco sticks:
Spread the seasoned beef evenly over the dough, leaving about 1 inch border on all sides. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.

Cut and twist:
Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide. Twist each strip several times to create spirals.

Bake:
Place the twisted strips on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart. Bake for 12โ€“15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve:
Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Serve warm with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole for dipping!

Tips:
For extra gooeyness, add a sprinkle of mozzarella along with cheddar.

Spice it up with jalapeรฑos or hot sauce mixed into the beef.

These freeze well โ€” just reheat in the oven or air fryer.
