2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls π₯
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened π§
1 cup sugar π
1 teaspoon vanilla extract π¨
1 whole egg π₯
1 egg white (for brushing) π₯

Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a 9×13″ baking dish with parchment or lightly grease it.
Prepare the base layer:
Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press into the bottom of the pan, sealing the seams to create one solid sheet.
Make the cream cheese filling:
In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and the whole egg until smooth and creamy.
Spread the filling:
Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll base in the pan.
Top layer time:
Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture, again pressing the seams together gently.
Brush and bake:
