Easy Breakfast Cheese Danish

Easy Breakfast Cheese Danish 🥐🧀 – Buttery, Flaky & Creamy Delight!
Perfect for a cozy weekend breakfast or a sweet brunch treat, this cheese Danish recipe is super easy with crescent roll dough and a luscious cream cheese filling. Let’s make mornings delicious!

🧾 Ingredients:
2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls 🥐

2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened 🧀

1 cup sugar 🍚

1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🍨

1 whole egg 🥚

1 egg white (for brushing) 🥚

👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13″ baking dish with parchment or lightly grease it.

Prepare the base layer:
Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press into the bottom of the pan, sealing the seams to create one solid sheet.

Make the cream cheese filling:
In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and the whole egg until smooth and creamy.

Spread the filling:
Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll base in the pan.

Top layer time:
Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture, again pressing the seams together gently.

Brush and bake:
Brush the top layer with egg white to give it that golden bakery-style finish.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly puffed.

Cool & serve:
Let cool for about 15 minutes before slicing into squares or rectangles. Serve warm or chilled!

💡 Optional Drizzle (for a sweet glaze):
Mix ½ cup powdered sugar with 1 tbsp milk and a dash of vanilla. Drizzle over cooled Danish for extra sweetness!

📝 Pro Tip:
Add a layer of fruit preserves (like raspberry or apricot) between the cheese filling and top crescent layer for a fruity twist!
