Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs

  • 2 cups Dr Pepper

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs and pat dry.

2️⃣ Season the Ribs

Rub both sides of the ribs with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

3️⃣ Cook in Dr Pepper

Place ribs in a large baking dish or foil pan. Pour Dr Pepper over the ribs, cover tightly with foil, and bake 2.5–3 hours, or until ribs are tender and meat pulls easily from the bone.

4️⃣ Add Barbecue Sauce & Broil

Remove foil and brush ribs generously with barbecue sauce. Broil or bake uncovered at 400°F (200°C) for 10–15 minutes, until sauce is caramelized and sticky.

5️⃣ Serve

Slice ribs between the bones and serve hot. Optional: garnish with chopped parsley or extra barbecue sauce.
