๐Ÿงผโœจ DIY Soap & Glycerin Bouncy Ball

Materials

  • 1/4 cup liquid soap

  • 1/4 cup vegetable-derived glycerin

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

๐Ÿ“ Directions

1. Prepare Your Workspace

Gather all materials and make sure your surface is clean and dry.

2. Combine Soap and Glycerin

  • Pour 1/4 cup liquid soap into a small mixing bowl.

  • Add 1/4 cup vegetable glycerin.

  • Stir with a spoon until the mixture becomes smooth and well blended.

3. Add Cornstarch Slowly

  • Add the 1 tablespoon cornstarch gradually, mixing as you sprinkle it in.

  • This prevents clumping and helps the mixture thicken evenly.

4. Mix Until Thick

  • Keep stirring until the mixture becomes noticeably thicker and begins holding its shape.

  • It should look glossy, stretchy, and slightly stickyโ€”similar to thick gel.

5. Shape Into a Ball

  • Use your hands to scoop up the mixture.

  • Roll and knead it between your palms until it forms a smooth ball.

If it feels too sticky, add a pinch more cornstarch and continue kneading.

6. Let It Set

  • Place your ball on wax paper, parchment, or a clean plate.

  • Allow it to rest for several hours so it can firm up and hold the shape.

7. Test the Bounce

Once fully set, gently drop the ball from a small height to test its bounce!
