Deep Fried S’mores

Ingredients:
8 large marshmallows
8 squares of milk chocolate or chocolate bars, broken into smaller pieces
8 graham cracker squares, broken in half
1 cup pancake mix
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup flour, for dusting
Oil, for frying
Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Directions:
Prepare S’mores: Sandwich a piece of chocolate between two graham cracker halves with a marshmallow in the middle. Repeat to create 8 s’mores.
Mix Batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the pancake mix and water until smooth. The batter should be thick enough to coat the s’mores.
Heat Oil: In a deep fryer or large skillet, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
Dust and Dip: Lightly dust each s’more with flour, then dip it into the pancake batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Fry S’mores: Carefully place the coated s’mores into the hot oil, frying for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Fry in batches if necessary.
Drain and Dust: Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried s’mores and drain on a paper towel. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
