📝 Ingredients

For the Brownie Layer

  • ½ cup (115 g) butter

  • ½ cup (90 g) dark chocolate, chopped

  • ¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ cup (60 g) all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

For the Cheesecake Layer

  • 200 g cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

  2. Melt Chocolate & Butter
In a saucepan over low heat (or microwave in short bursts), melt butter and chopped dark chocolate together until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. Mix the Brownie Batter
Stir sugar into the chocolate mixture, followed by eggs, mixing until glossy and well combined.
Gently fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just incorporated.
Pour most of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, reserving a few spoonfuls for swirling.

  4. Make the Cheesecake Layer
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, mixing until creamy and lump-free.
