Crispy Cheesy Bacon Rolls
Ingredients:
8 slices of white bread (crusts removed)
8 slices of bacon (cooked until crispy)
8 slices of cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
3 tbsp butter (melted)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the bread:
Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin. This makes it easier to roll.
Assemble the rolls:
Place one slice of cheese on each piece of flattened bread, followed by one crispy bacon slice. Roll the bread tightly around the cheese and bacon to create a log shape.
Coat with butter:
Brush each roll with melted butter, making sure they’re coated on all sides.
Add seasonings:
If using, mix the grated Parmesan and garlic powder in a small bowl. Roll the buttered bread in the Parmesan mixture to give it extra flavor and crispness.
Bake:
Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot. These Crispy Cheesy Bacon Rolls are great on their own or dipped in your favorite sauce!
