Ingredients

  • 1 package (10 oz) frozen peas

  • 1 Tbsp butter

  • ¼ cup heavy cream (or whole milk)

  • ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: pinch of sugar (enhances sweetness)

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or chives


Directions

  1. Cook the Peas
    Add frozen peas to a saucepan with a small amount of water. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender. Drain well.

  2. Make Them Creamy
    Return peas to the saucepan over low heat. Add butter and stir until melted.

  3. Add Cream & Seasoning
    Pour in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and add a pinch of sugar if desired. Stir gently and simmer 2–3 minutes until warmed through and creamy.

  4. Serve
    Remove from heat and garnish with fresh herbs if using. Serve warm.
