👩🍳 Directions (7 Steps)
1. Prep the Bread
Slice the Italian loaf into thick rounds or cut it into pull-apart chunks. Brush each piece with melted butter to create that golden, crispy base.
2. Cook the Shrimp
Chop shrimp into small bite-sized pieces. Quickly sauté in a skillet with a tiny splash of oil for 2–3 minutes, just until pink. Do not overcook. Let cool slightly.
3. Mix the Seafood Filling
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, crab meat (if using), garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Fold in the cooked shrimp until evenly mixed and creamy.
4. Stuff the Bread
Take each bread piece and cut a slit or gently open a pocket. Stuff generously with the shrimp-crab filling, packing it in so each bite is loaded.
5. Arrange on a Tray
Place the stuffed bread bombs onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
6. Bake Until Golden
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until the bread edges are crispy and the filling is hot and melty.
7. Finish & Serve
Brush with a bit more melted butter, sprinkle parsley or Parmesan, and serve immediately while warm and gooey. Enjoy the cheesy seafood goodness!
