Crab Crunchies
Crispy, golden, and irresistibly buttery! These bite-sized crab treats are coated in herbed breadcrumbs and baked or fried to crunchy perfection—perfect for dipping into warm butter or your favorite tangy sauce.
Ingredients
1 lb crab meat (claw and chunk pieces)
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup panko or seasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 tsp Old Bay or seafood seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt & pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Melted butter or dip, for serving
Oil (if frying)
Directions Prep Crab: Pat crab pieces dry with a paper towel.
Coat: Dip crab in beaten egg, then roll in a breadcrumb mixture of panko, seasoning, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Cook:
– For Baked: Arrange on a parchment-lined tray, drizzle with oil, and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
– For Fried: Heat oil in a skillet and fry for 2–3 minutes per side until crispy. Serve: Garnish with lemon wedges and dip into melted butter or tangy sauce.
