Ingredients
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup cooked crab meat, chopped (fresh, canned, or imitation)
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Prepare Crab Filling
In a medium bowl, combine the chopped crab meat, softened cream cheese, and mayonnaise. Mix well until creamy and evenly blended.
3. Prepare Crescent Dough
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforations.
4. Fill and Roll
Place about 1 tablespoon of the crab filling at the wider end of each crescent triangle.
Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, enclosing the filling inside, and shape into crescent rolls.
5. Bake
Arrange the filled crescents on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
6. Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm as delightful finger food.
Tips & Variations
Add a sprinkle of Old Bay seasoning or garlic powder to the crab mixture for an extra flavor boost.
Top the crescent bites with a little shredded cheddar cheese before baking for cheesy goodness.
Serve with a tangy dipping sauce like cocktail sauce or a spicy aioli.
