🛒 Ingredients
For the Cake:
1 box white cake mix
3 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1 tsp cotton candy extract (or vanilla extract)
Pink, blue, and white gel food coloring
For the Frosting:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp heavy cream
Pinch of salt
Pink gel food coloring (optional)
Extra cotton candy (optional garnish)

1 Preheat & Prep Pans
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three 8-inch round cake pans with parchment.
2 Make the Batter
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil, milk, and extract. Mix until smooth.
3 Color & Pour
Divide batter evenly into three bowls. Tint one pink, one blue, and leave one white. Pour each into its own pan.
4 Bake
Bake 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
5 Frosting Time
Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, cream, and salt. Add pink food coloring if desired.
6 Assemble & Decorate
Stack cake layers with frosting between each. Frost the entire cake. Pipe decorative swirls on top.
