Ingredients:
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup freshly grated Romano cheese
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional garnish: Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:
Melt Butter: In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine.
Add Cream Cheese: Add the softened cream cheese and garlic powder, whisking continuously until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is smooth.
Add Cheeses: Gradually add the grated Parmesan and Romano cheeses, stirring continuously. Allow the cheese to fully melt and incorporate into the sauce. This may take about 5-7 minutes.
Season the Sauce: Season with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste. Let the sauce cook over low heat for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens to a creamy consistency.
Serve: Remove from heat and serve immediately over cooked fettuccine or your favorite pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Tips: For best results, use freshly grated cheese rather than pre-shredded cheese, which may prevent the sauce from reaching a smooth, creamy texture.
