Copycat Chick-fil-A Nuggets Recipe
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup dill pickle juice
1/2 cup milk
1 large egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
1. Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and cover with pickle juice. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 1 hour.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
3. In another bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
4. Drain the marinated chicken and pat dry. Dip each piece first into the milk-egg mixture, then coat evenly in the flour mixture.
5. Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry the chicken nuggets in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and fully cooked.
7. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
