COOKIES AND CREAM CHEESECAKE DEEP FRIED OREOS



INGREDIENTS

For the Cheesecake Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup crushed Oreos

1/4 cup whipped cream or whipped topping (optional for fluffier filling)

For the Coating & Frying:

20 Oreo cookies (double-stuffed or original)

1 cup pancake mix

2/3 cup milk

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)

Vegetable oil, for frying

For Finishing:

Powdered sugar, for dusting

Chocolate drizzle or melted chocolate (optional)



INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare Cheesecake Filling:

Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Fold in crushed Oreos and whipped topping (if using).

Chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes.

2. Make Oreo Cheesecake Sandwiches:

Gently twist apart each Oreo.

Pipe or spoon a small mound of cheesecake filling on one half.

Press the other half on top to sandwich. Freeze sandwiches for 20–30 minutes.

3. Prepare Batter:

In a bowl, whisk pancake mix, milk, egg, vanilla, and sugar until smooth.

4. Heat Oil:

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).

5. Dip and Fry:

Dip each frozen Oreo sandwich into the batter to fully coat.

Carefully place into hot oil and fry for 2–3 minutes, until golden brown.

Remove and drain on paper towels.

6. Finish:

Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with melted chocolate or serve as is!



Tips:

For extra crunch, you can roll the Oreos in graham cracker crumbs before battering.

Use a toothpick or fork to dip and control the sandwich in the oil.

Serve warm for maximum gooeyness!
