Cinnamon Swirl Apple Bread

Ingredients
For the Bread

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground nutmeg (optional)

2 large eggs

½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

¼ cup brown sugar
-
2 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
For the Cinnamon Swirl

⅓ cup granulated sugar
-
1½ tsp ground cinnamon
Directions

Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan. -
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. -
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, beat eggs, oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth. -
Combine
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir just until combined. Fold in diced apples. -
Layer the Swirl
Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Add remaining batter and top with remaining cinnamon sugar. Gently swirl with a knife. -
Bake
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. -
Cool & Serve
Let bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
