Cinnamon Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for optional glaze)
1 tbsp milk (for optional glaze)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for optional glaze)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar:
In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined. Set aside.
Assemble the Crescent Rolls:
Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate the dough into triangles. Brush each triangle with melted butter, making sure to cover the entire surface.
Sprinkle each triangle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Roll the Crescents:
Starting at the wide end of each triangle, roll up the dough toward the pointed end, forming a crescent shape. Place each rolled crescent on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a bit of space between each roll.
Bake the Rolls:
Bake the cinnamon crescent rolls in the preheated oven for 9-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Optional Glaze:
While the rolls are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl to create a glaze.
Once the crescent rolls are out of the oven, let them cool slightly, then drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls for an extra sweet touch.
Serve Warm:
Enjoy the cinnamon crescent rolls warm for the best taste. They’re perfect for breakfast or as a sweet snack!
