Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
1/4 cup ranch dressing (or your choice of dressing)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg (for egg wash)
Optional: Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Filling:
In a medium bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Roll Out the Crescent Dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Fill the Crescent Rolls:
Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken filling onto the wide end of each crescent triangle. Be careful not to overfill.
Roll Up the Crescents:
Starting from the wide end, roll the crescent dough over the filling towards the pointed end. Pinch the edges to seal.
Prepare for Baking:
In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the stuffed crescent rolls for a golden finish.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Garnish and Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired.
Enjoy:
Serve warm as an appetizer, snack, or meal alongside a fresh salad or dipping sauce!
