Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

Ingredients:
3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1 1/2 cups diced ham
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (or mozzarella)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Topping:
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp melted butter
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the Casserole Base:
Layer the cooked chicken in the bottom of the baking dish.
Sprinkle diced ham evenly over the chicken.
Make the Sauce:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese until well combined.
Assemble the Casserole:
Pour the sauce over the chicken and ham mixture, making sure everything is evenly coated.
Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the top.
Prepare the Topping:
In a small bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, paprika, and Parmesan cheese until the crumbs are evenly coated.
Bake:
Sprinkle the breadcrumb topping evenly over the casserole.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
