Chicken Bacon Ranch Stuffed Bread
Ingredients:
1 loaf French bread (or any crusty bread)
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup ranch dressing
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Bread:
Cut the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise. Hollow out some of the bread from the inside, creating space for the filling (be careful not to cut through the crust).
Mix the Filling:
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, shredded mozzarella, and cheddar cheeses. Mix until everything is well combined.
Stuff the Bread:
Spoon the chicken-bacon-ranch mixture evenly into both halves of the hollowed-out bread.
Add the Finishing Touch:
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and chopped parsley (if using). Brush the garlic butter mixture over the top of the bread.
Bake:
Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden brown.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let the bread cool for a couple of minutes before slicing. Serve as a delicious appetizer, side dish, or meal.
