Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
8 ounces pasta (rotini, penne, or your choice)
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken and Bacon:
If not already cooked, cook the chicken breasts in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Let cool slightly and then dice into bite-sized pieces. Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces.
Mix the Sauce:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ranch dressing, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Combine Ingredients:
Add the cooked pasta, diced chicken, and half of the crumbled bacon to the bowl with the sauce. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
Assemble the Casserole:
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses evenly over the top. Add the remaining crumbled bacon on top of the cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let the casserole cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
