π Cherry Pie Bars πͺ
A buttery crust, luscious cherry filling, and crumbly topping β the perfect handheld cherry pie!
π Ingredients:
For the Crust & Topping:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1Β½ cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
Β½ tsp salt
For the Filling:
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
π©βπ³ Instructions:
Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Make the Dough
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
Gradually mix in the flour and salt until just combined.
Assemble the Layers
Spread β of the dough into the bottom of your prepared baking pan.
Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the dough.
Drop remaining dough by spoonfuls over the top to create a crumble effect.
Bake
Bake for 30β35 minutes, or until the top is golden and set.
Let cool completely in the pan.
Slice & Serve
Cut into bars and enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temp for 2β3 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.

Almond extract (ΒΌ tsp) in the dough for a classic cherry-almond twist.
Powdered sugar glaze: Mix Β½ cup powdered sugar with 1 tbsp milk and drizzle over cooled bars.
