Cheesy Taco Cream Cheese Pasta
Ingredients:
8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
½ cup water
Cheesy Taco Cream Cheese Pasta4 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup salsa
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Cook Pasta: Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Season Beef: Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet with the beef. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Add Creamy Ingredients: Reduce heat to low. Add cream cheese and salsa, stirring until creamy and combined.
Combine Pasta and Cheese: Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cook until melted.
Serve: Garnish with fresh cilantro, if desired, and serve warm.
