🥓 1 package Kielbasa or smoked sausage (I use Ekrich Sausage), cut into chunks🥔 1 (32 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns🧅 1 small onion, diced🧀 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded🥄 1/2 cup sour cream🥛 1/2 cup milk🥫 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup🧂 Salt and pepper, to taste🧄 1 tsp minced garlic🧂 1 tsp onion powder🧀 1/2 cup extra cheddar cheese for topping
🟢 Instructions:
1. Prepare the Slow Cooker
Grease the slow cooker or use a crockpot liner for easy cleanup.
2. Layer the Ingredients
Add the sliced sausage, frozen hashbrowns, diced onion, and 2 cups of cheddar cheese into the slow cooker.
3. Make the Sauce
In a separate bowl, mix together the soup, milk, and sour cream. Add salt, pepper, minced garlic, and onion powder to taste.
4. Pour Over the Mixture
Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the sausage and hashbrowns, ensuring everything is coated well.
5. Add Extra Cheese
