Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Chicken Filling:
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well incorporated and the cream cheese coats the chicken and cheese evenly.
Assemble the Crescent Rolls:
Unroll the crescent roll dough into individual triangles. Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each crescent roll. Carefully roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, wrapping the filling inside.
Bake the Rolls:
Place the assembled rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops of each roll with melted butter for a golden, crispy finish. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch, marinara, or honey mustard.
