Ingredients:
2 cups cooked white rice

2 cups steamed broccoli florets

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

1 cup cooked, shredded chicken breast (optional)

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon melted butter (for greasing the baking dish)

Instructions:
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with melted butter.

Combine the casserole ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, steamed broccoli florets, 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, cooked chicken (if using), and the can of cream of chicken soup. Add the milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well combined.
