Prep the broccoli:
Steam or microwave broccoli until just tender (about 3–4 minutes). Let cool, then finely chop and squeeze out excess moisture. -
Mix the filling:
In a bowl, combine broccoli, cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, ½ cup Panko, egg, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined and holds together. -
Shape the bites:
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll into balls or small patties. If you want extra crunch, roll them lightly in additional Panko. -
Cook them:
Fry:
Heat oil to 175°C / 350°F. Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes, turning until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.Bake:
Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F. Place bites on a lined baking sheet, spray lightly with oil, and bake for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden.Air Fry:
Cook at 190°C / 375°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway. -
Serve:
Serve hot with ranch, garlic aioli, or marinara for dipping 😋
💡 TIPS & VARIATIONS
