🍫 Cheesecake Brownies
Fudgy brownies + creamy cheesecake = the ultimate dessert! These brownies are rich, decadent, and totally irresistible — the perfect treat for chocolate and cheesecake lovers alike.
🧾 Ingredients
For the Brownie Layer:
12 oz semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
6 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
For the Cheesecake Swirl:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
½ tsp vanilla extract
👩🍳 Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
Make the Brownie Batter:
Melt chocolate chips and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.
Stir in sugar, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
Mix in vanilla, flour, and salt until combined. Set aside.
Prepare the Cheesecake Mixture:
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, and beat until creamy and lump-free.
Assemble the Brownies:
Pour most of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, reserving a few tablespoons for swirling on top.
Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the brownie layer.
Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter over the cheesecake layer and use a knife to swirl.
Bake:
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is just set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool & Chill:
Let cool completely, then chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before slicing for clean cuts.
💡 Tips:
For extra decadence, fold chocolate chunks into the brownie batter.
