  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Sauce & Cheese

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of cheddar soup (or cream of chicken with 1 cup cheddar)

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup milk

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • 2 tablespoons mustard

  • Optional: pickle slices for topping

Directions

1️⃣ Preheat & Cook Beef

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with diced onion and garlic until browned.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Drain excess fat.

2️⃣ Make the Creamy Burger Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, cream of cheddar soup, milk, ketchup, and mustard.
Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.

3️⃣ Layer the Casserole

In a greased 9×13 baking dish:

  1. Spread half of the frozen shoestring fries as the bottom layer.

  2. Top with cooked beef mixture.

  3. Pour half of the creamy cheese-burger sauce over the beef.

  4. Repeat: remaining fries, then remaining sauce.

  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.

4️⃣ Bake

Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake 10–15 more minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and fries are golden on top.

5️⃣ Serve

Optional: garnish with pickle slices, diced tomatoes, or extra ketchup. Serve warm and enjoy all the cheeseburger flavors in every bite.
