Cheese Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Cheese Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite cheese)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
Cooking spray or butter for greasing
Optional toppings: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling

Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Prepare Dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
Add Cheese Filling:
On the wide end of each triangle, place about 1 tablespoon of shredded cheese. If using, sprinkle a pinch of garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the cheese.
Roll Up:
Starting from the wide end, roll up each triangle tightly towards the pointed end, sealing the edges to contain the cheese.
Place on Baking Sheet:
Place the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spaced a couple of inches apart.
Add Toppings (Optional):
If desired, lightly brush the tops with melted butter or cooking spray and sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. These are best enjoyed warm!
