Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground chicken
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup ranch dressing mix (dry)
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil or cooking spray for grilling
Burger buns and desired toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.)
Directions:
Prepare the Mixture:
In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, chopped parsley (if using), minced garlic, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper.
Mix gently until all ingredients are well incorporated. Avoid over-mixing to keep the burgers tender.
Form the Patties:
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.
Preheat the Grill or Skillet:
Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease the grill grates or skillet with olive oil or cooking spray.
Cook the Burgers:
Place the patties on the preheated grill or skillet.
Cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are cooked through and golden brown on the outside.
Serve:
Toast the burger buns if desired.
Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.) and serve immediately.
