For the Burgers:
1 lb ground chicken
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for binding)
1 egg (optional, for binding)
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray (for grilling)
For Serving:
Burger buns
Lettuce
Tomato slices
Pickles
Optional condiments: mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup
Directions:
Prepare the Chicken Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning mix. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed. If the mixture seems too loose, add breadcrumbs and/or an egg to help bind it together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Form the Patties:
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a burger patty.
Cook the Burgers:
Grilling Method: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil or use cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the patties on the grill and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is melted.
Stovetop Method: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and add a bit of olive oil. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is melted.
Assemble the Burgers:
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster if desired.
Place each patty on the bottom half of a burger bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Add your favorite condiments if desired.

Serve the Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers immediately with your favorite side dishes.
