These Broccoli Cheese Patties are golden, crispy on the outside, and soft and cheesy on the inside. Ingredients

2 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup breadcrumbs

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 large eggs

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Olive oil or vegetable oil for frying

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

Red pepper flakes for a little kick
Directions

Steam or blanch broccoli florets for 3–4 minutes, then chop finely and let cool slightly.

In a large bowl, combine chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings. Mix until well incorporated.

Form mixture into small patties, about 2–3 inches in diameter.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil.

Carefully place patties in the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

Remove patties and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, aioli, or spicy mayo.
