Blueberry Cheesecake Cookies

Ingredients:
For the Cookies:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (if using frozen, do not thaw)
For the Cream Cheese Glaze:
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-3 tablespoons milk

Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Make the Cookie Dough:
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the softened cream cheese until evenly distributed.
Gently fold in the blueberries, being careful not to overmix as this can cause the berries to burst.
Form the Cookies:
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingers.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers are still soft.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Prepare the Cream Cheese Glaze:
In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the glaze reaches a pourable consistency.
Glaze the Cookies:
Once the cookies are completely cooled, drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the top of each cookie.
