Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
2 cups Bisquick mix
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
For the Filling:
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Grease a 9-inch round baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, milk, and granulated sugar.
Stir until the dough forms a soft ball. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more Bisquick mix.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead it gently 5-7 times.
Roll Out the Dough:
Roll the dough into a rectangle, approximately 12×9 inches in size.
Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
Add the Filling:
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
Roll and Slice:
Starting from the long side, tightly roll the dough into a log.
Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls and place them in the prepared baking pan.
Bake:
Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Prepare the Glaze:
While the rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
Glaze the Rolls:
Once the cinnamon rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for about 5 minutes.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
Serve:
Serve the cinnamon rolls warm and enjoy the soft, fluffy, and sweet treat!
Storage:
Store any leftover cinnamon rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
