Biscuits and Gravy Casserole

Ingredients:
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits
1 lb breakfast sausage
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook Sausage: In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Make Gravy: Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir to combine. Gradually add the milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
Prepare Biscuits: While the gravy is thickening, cut the refrigerated biscuits into quarters.
Assemble Casserole: In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread half of the biscuit pieces evenly. Pour half of the sausage gravy over the biscuits. Repeat with the remaining biscuits and gravy.
Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
