Apple Pie Biscuits

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Gradually add buttermilk, stirring until just combined.
5. Fold in the diced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
7. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar.
8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
