1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional topping)
2 tbsp melted butter (optional topping)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
Combine the Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cooked egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, diced tomatoes (with juice), sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Stir until well combined.
Assemble the Casserole:
Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
Optional Topping:
If you want a crunchy top, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter in a small bowl and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
Bake:
Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until heated through and bubbly. If using the breadcrumb topping, bake until golden brown.
Serve:
Let the casserole cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
