Alfredo Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken wings, cut into flats and drumettes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
Directions:
Prepare and Season the Chicken Wings:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Bake the Chicken Wings:
Arrange the seasoned chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a greased wire rack.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning the wings halfway through cooking, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring constantly.
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
Add the ground nutmeg (optional) and stir to combine. Remove the sauce from heat.
Coat the Wings with Alfredo Sauce:
Once the chicken wings are done baking, transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
Pour the Alfredo sauce over the wings and toss them until they are evenly coated.
Serve:
Transfer the Alfredo chicken wings to a serving platter.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra grated Parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately, and enjoy these creamy, cheesy wings with your favorite dipping sauce.
