π§βπ³ Ingredients:
1 lb chicken tenders
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
π½οΈ Instructions:
Prep the chicken tenders:
In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Dip each chicken tender into the flour mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated. Then, dip it into the beaten egg and coat it again with panko breadcrumbs. Repeat until all tenders are coated.
Air fry the chicken:
Preheat your air fryer to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
Place the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tenders are golden brown and crispy on the outside and fully cooked inside.
Prepare the honey butter garlic sauce:
While the chicken cooks, melt 1/4 cup butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add 2 tablespoons of honey and 1-2 cloves of minced garlic to the butter and stir until everything is combined and heated through. Season with a pinch of salt.
Coat the chicken:
Once the chicken tenders are cooked, drizzle the honey butter garlic sauce over the tenders or toss them in a bowl to coat them evenly with the sauce.
Serve and enjoy:
Serve the honey butter garlic chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce or side dish.
π‘ Pro Tip:
For an extra crunch, spray the chicken tenders lightly with cooking spray before air frying to help them get even crispier.
