No-Bake Curd and Cheese Flan
Ingredients:
– 2 cups whole milk
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 package of curd powder (about 12 grams)
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 200 grams cream cheese, softened
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– Caramel sauce (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
1. **Heat Milk and Cream:** In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is warm but not boiling.
2. **Dissolve Curd Powder:** In a small bowl, dissolve the curd powder in a few tablespoons of warm milk from the saucepan. Stir until fully dissolved and lump-free.
3. **Combine Ingredients:** Add the dissolved curd mixture back into the saucepan with the warm milk and cream. Stir continuously until the mixture begins to thicken slightly.
4. **Add Cream Cheese:** Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract. Use a whisk or hand blender to blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
5. **Pour into Molds:** Pour the mixture into individual flan molds or a large flan dish. Smooth the top with a spatula if necessary.
6. **Refrigerate:** Let the flan cool at room temperature for a few minutes, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
7. **Serve:** Optionally, drizzle with caramel sauce before serving. Enjoy your no-bake curd and cheese flan chilled.
