Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries

Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries

Ingredients:
4 large russet potatoes
3 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried thyme

Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Prepare Potatoes:
Peel the potatoes if desired (for a crispier texture, you can leave the skin on). Cut the potatoes into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
Season Potatoes:
In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated. Add minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, dried oregano, and dried thyme. Toss again to distribute the seasonings.
Bake:
Spread the seasoned potato strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the fries are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
Add Parmesan and Parsley:
Once the fries are baked, remove them from the oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese while still hot. Toss to coat the fries evenly.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for added flavor and color.
Serve:
Serve the garlic Parmesan fries hot, with your favorite dipping sauces if desired.
